Review: Mad Sea - K. Webster - September 2016

Madden Finn is your typical Bad Boy, the type that parents tell you to stay away from as he is President of his MC chapter. The thing though is that Madden aka Mad Dog has a few secrets of his own that no-one knows especially not the members of his club as if they ever found out, he would be considered a laughing stock.  Every Sunday for the past three months, Madden has been visiting a Froyo place as he is in love with an employee there named Hali. The other secret which is his biggest one is that he isn't entirely human. What happens when he decides to fall in love with Hali and give his all to her? Will she be revolted or will he discover that they are meant to be? Without giving the twist and ending of this story away, I have to say I loved the ending and twist and I was like "fist pump" into the air at the end and then the epilogue with one year later was an "awh" moment and so totally cutesy.  If you are looking for a quick read that has romance, mermaids, motorcycle gangs, Bad Boys and Fro-yo then check out K. Webster's Mad Sea today as you will not be disappointed.

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
