Six Month Rule (The Kingston Ale House Series, #2)

Review: Six Month Rule - Book #2 The Kingston Ale House Series - A.J Pine - July 2016

A.J Pine is back with a new book in the Kingston Ale House Series , the first book saw Jamie Kingston finally reunited with Brynn Chandler and getting the "one that got away". In Book #2 Six Month Rule, we meet Brynn's sister Holly.  Holly is on the fast-track to making partner finally for the event planning PR firm that she works for , she just has one more account to pull off before she can get out of her cubicle and into the corner office and have her name on a plaque adorning the door.  Six months is all it is going to take and Holly thinks she has this in the bag until she meets her British counterpart Will Evans. Will has only six months left on the job and then he can finally leave this world behind and become the one thing he has missed out on the past years - to become the father he should have been to Sophie. Will and Holly get off on the wrong foot, after he insults her style of clothing and he seems to be abrupt and rude. Can Holly get through the next six months of Will ? As the book goes along though we watch the chemistry starting to sizzle and heat up between the two as they move from co-workers to good friends and then eventually with the introduction of Holly's six month rule into boyfriend/girlfriend stage.  Holly has always been focused on her work and finds her relationships tend to go down south fast after the first six months are up, so she invented the six month - no strings attached rule and it has worked wonders and perfectly for her so far. What will happen though when she proposes the deal to Will who graciously accepts and they both find themselves falling in "actual love" with one another? Will this relationship work and will they make it past the six month rule - even more so that they both have plans for the after "six months" ?
